  1. I recognise that scarf young lady and I know a couple of other ladies who also have it too. It was very popular.

Great idea to do the layering trick over the midi dress - I forget to do stuff like that. Heck at my age - I forget a lot.

    2. I have to find a maxi/midi dress that suits - tried one on last week that I LOVED but it meant I had to hold myself in and that's not do'able for more than 20 seconds! Damn kids and wine giving me a wobbly tummy!

    3. Ah but a loose tshirt can hide that! Then on a slimmer day no tshirt! Or spanx....Failing that give up wine. Although the last option can't be taken seriously? !

  3. This is such a 'mummy' comment but I love skirts this length. I feel so casual in jeans/trousers but shorter skirts are just so inappropriate for playdates. This length is okay for crawling on the floor or rescuing two year olds from the monkey bars but makes me feel a little more 'together'. Great outfit! I'm a new follower!

  4. Lovely outfit - great combination of the stripes and that scarf (which I have). You've given me another idea of how to wear it. Thank you! Avx
